Golf Outing 2011

Every year, since my grandpa passed away in 2006, my family has held a golf outing in my grandpa's name in order to provide funds for a scholarship we started!

Here is an excerpt from the Three Rivers paper:
"The fifth annual Ron Reece golf outing, held in memory of the former Three Rivers superintendent, brought 18 teams to Sauganash Golf Course on a beautiful Friday afternoon yesterday. The $1,000 scholarships, renewable for three years, go to a Three Rivers graduate and a Constantine graduate who are pursuing a degree that is education-related. Pictured with Ron’s wife Diane and his three children are this year’s recipients. From left: Diane Reece, Jeff Reece, Salina Bosworth (Constantine), Morgan Burnson (Three Rivers), Tammy Patterson and Jenny Taffee."


It was a great day and I am so glad we have something going as good as this to keep the memory of my grandpa alive!
